Welcome to Eastern Cape

Welcome to the land of rolling hills, endless pristine beaches, undulating hill, towering mountain ranges and lush forest. Welcome to the birthplace of one of South Africa’s favorite sons, former president Nelson ‘Madiba’ Mandela. Welcome to the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.

Probably one of the most geographically diverse of South Africa provinces, areas within the Eastern Cape include: the Karroo, the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area, the Sunshine Coast, the Garden Route and the Eastern Grasslands. The Eastern Province can be considered the Motor Manufacturing capital of South Africa, as major internationally manufactures Volkswagen SA and Mercedes SA, to name but 2, call the province home.

Nature reserve, Game Lodge and Farms are the order of the day when accommodation establishments are considered, but not exclusively so as there are many Boutique Guest Houses, Bed and Breakfast, and Exclusive high end Hotels in the Province. But for the more budget conscience there are plenty of Backpackers, self catering units and camping and caravan site to choose from.
